- For the first time, the World Equestrian Games will be held outside of Europe.
- For the first time, the World Equestrian Games will be staged at a single venue.
- For the first time, the World Equestrian Games will include para-equestrian events.
The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010 are comprised of the world championships for eight equestrian sports – show jumping, dressage, eventing, driving, endurance, vaulting, reining, and para-equestrian.
All events will be held at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky. The games started in 1990 and they are held every four years--two years prior to the Summer Olympic Games. The games are governed by the Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI) based in Lausanne, Switzerland. The FEI is the international governing body of equestrian sport recognized by the International Olympic Committee.
What can you do?
- Join our competition teams in Driving or Endurance Racing as a team member
- Join our competition teams in Driving or Endurance Racingas a crew/support member
- Join our competition teams in training and learn the sports of Driving and/or Endurance Racing
- Support our competition teams financially through donations
- Train with us and simply compete with us in 2008 and 2009
